The DN-SPL direct mounting unit is designed for the direct mounting of tools for machining solid wood or wood-based composite materials.
The stationary adapter housing, held in position by the torque support, is designed to accommodate chip guide plates. These can be adjusted to suit the respective profiling tool and allow for the targeted removal of the chips produced during machining.
Attention:
When selecting and purchasing the tools, preference should be given to cutters with an aluminium tool body. The lower weight helps to keep the centrifugal forces of the rotating masses as low as possible.
In addition, careful fine balancing of the tools is essential to ensure smooth and low-vibration operation of the direct mounting unit.
