The W56-1.1-S series is a compact and versatile CNC aggregate for sawing applications, featuring a particularly small interference contour. The saw blade holder is positioned at an angle of 45°, exactly centered below the drive spindle. Other fixed angular positions are also available on request. The selected angle is defined during manufacture and cannot be changed afterwards. This makes the aggregate particularly suitable for applications where the dimensions within the tool changer are a critical factor.
Due to the central positioning of the saw blade holder, the interference contour of the aggregate is approximately equal to the diameter of the saw blade used. Only the thickness of the saw blade results in a slight deviation. This design provides a particularly compact configuration and makes optimum use of the available space within the tool changer.
The aggregate features an HSK-F63 drive interface and is designed for continuous operation. The drive spindle can be operated in both clockwise and counterclockwise rotation. The 1:1 gear drive transfers the drive speed directly to the tool holder. The permissible speed range is 1,000 to 10,000 rpm.
The saw blade holder is designed for saw blades with a Ø30j5 bore and 8x M5 mounting threads on a Ø52 mm pitch circle. The direction of rotation of the tool holder corresponds to the respective direction of rotation of the drive spindle. The spindle power is 3.0 kW.
In addition to the standard saw blade holder, the aggregate can also be supplied with alternative tool holders. Depending on the application, collet chucks, for example, are also available. These configurations can likewise be designed specifically to achieve the smallest possible interference contour.
With its compact design, centrally positioned tool holder and flexible configuration options, the W56-1.1-S is particularly suitable for use on CNC machining centres where a small space requirement and optimum utilisation of the available tool changer space are of particular importance.
